A Place Where Life Change Happens
Safety for your little ones. Fun for your big kids. And great foundational teaching that will give your kids a leg up in life as they discover that Jesus wants to be their “forever friend.” Our kids' classes are staffed by volunteers who really love kids. Our preschool and elementary kids participate in large groups and small groups where they get high energy worship, creative teaching, personal attention and lots of fun, all centered around a “life app” — a practical application of God's truth — for each month. Our kids' curriculum allows parents to get involved with their child's spiritual development, and continue talking at home about what they are learning at church.
KidsLife is offered both services for babies through fifth grade.
Middle and high school students have a couple of options to grow in their relationship with God and make friends for life. Our students meet together on Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm for an evening of games, music, teaching, and competition that will help lay a strong spiritual foundation for the rest of their lives. The students also meet on Sunday mornings for deeper learning and study. There will also be some fun events planned throughout the year for students. If you want more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Life is better when lived together. Life groups are small gatherings, usually of ten or less, that meet in someone’s home on various days of the week or on our campus on Wednesday nights. Life Groups will allow you to take a deeper look at the topic that Pastor Rick brought up in his message, introduce you to some new friends, spend time discussing rather than just listening, all while providing you with companions to share life’s journey - both good and bad - together.
Life Tools are designed to equip people to better navigate life from a biblical perspective with specialized classes and seminars. They’re usually offered on Wednesday evenings at the CCV campus. Life Tools provide opportunities to invite friends & neighbors to classes and events they may not expect to find in “church”. Topics include: finances, healthy relationships (e.g., marriage, parenting, dating), personal safety, health & fitness, etc.
Whether it’s serving your neighbor next door, feeding the homeless in our inner city, or building homes in another country, when we take our eyes off of ourselves and place them on the needs of others – just like Jesus did – lives are changed, including our own!
